Dr. Talisa Sullivan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and a Teaching Credential from Cal State Dominguez Hills, a Master of Arts in Educational Administration from Cal State San Bernardino and a PhD in Education with an emphasis on Urban Leadership from Claremont Graduate University. She has been an educator for nearly 20 years serving students, teachers, staff, parents and the community in Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino and Orange Counties. Dr. Sullivan specializes in marginalized populations and has built a rapport as an Instructional Leader and Restorative Administrator at county offices of education, comprehensive schools and alternative programs throughout the Greater Los Angeles Area.
In addition to serving as an administrator in the K-12 public schools, Dr. Sullivan serves as an adjunct professor in the School of Education for the Teacher Education Program as well as the doctoral program at the university level. Dr. Sullivan has a magnitude of knowledge and training in education and is passionate about 21st creating equitable opportunities for youth who have been historically marginalized in the education system.
